Summertime salads

2 tbsp chives
1 tbsp mapple syrup or honey
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper
1/2 cup plain yogurt
2 tbsp olive oil
1 oz cider vinegar
1 tbsp ground garlic
1 tbsp mustard

Or at least it seems to me these are more or less the right amounts... I never actually measure stuff for a salad dressing. Mix it well and chill it before serving.
Give it a try and tell me about it.

I never measure either, but this looks yummy! Esp. on a salad with cooked chicken and fruit!

Hi DC, I've been lurking here from time to time, but I'm leaving a comment this time to prove it.

Yoghurt also replaces mayonnaise really well in potato salads too. mmm.

I'm always on the look out for new salad dressings, cool food for hot days :-)

CR: Hope you and Mrs. CR enjoy it!

GG: Hehehehe, guess hot days for you are more or less all year round. ;)

DC, I'm afraid I go for the simplest of salad dressings!
Olive oil, lemon juice, sea salt and freshly ground pepper.

But I shall try this one at our next bbq...

cream: That's actually close to what most people use most of the time around here.
