Évora's Bones Chapel

A few pics of the Bones Chapel. One of Évora's ex libris.
Click on the picture to see details and to locate the place on a map.
Évora is one of UNESCO's World Heritage sites in Portugal.

And no, I do not get any kind of grant from the tourist board for trying to lure you all into visiting our country...

One day when I'm in Spain, I shall have to come over and spend a little time in Portugal. I only know Lisbon and Porto from my sailing days.

cream: You can easily drive here from Spain. Although I would advise you to take some time to wander around in Portugal, there really is plenty for you to see.

hughes views: I shall keep on. Thanks for the interest.

I'm sure that place has a ghost or two, not Portugal, the Bones Chapel :-)

Which reminds me, my neighbour, a surgeon, has a skeleton from his medical school days. It lies in their downstairs apartment, listening to music from India. What a life!

GG: Ghosts or no ghosts, so far I've only seen evil actions done by live people. Guess if there are ghosts they're probably nicer than they are portrayed.
